4. WLAN TEST PROCEDURE
The QRCT is a Windows toolkit that provides a GUI interface for FTM operation. The user can
manually check for RF performance in nonsignaling testing.
Setup QRCT for WLAN
Step 1: Connect the device under test as shown in Figure 2-1.
Step 2: Configure the Access Point (or Ethernet switch) to get IP address of the below
devices:
• CMW500
• Windows Laptop (QRCT tool)
• Linux Laptop (QCMBR tool)
Step 3: Configure the CMW500 settings.
Step 4: Install the QCMBR tool in Linux laptop.
1. Open a command prompt and execute the following command
$sudo -s
Enter the password as "password"
2. Retrieve IP address of the Ethernet Interface in Linux Laptop by entering the
following command
#ifconfig
3. Navigate to the Qcmr tool directory, build and execute the following commands
# cd ~/FOR_KOREA_TEAM/RT_TEST/Qcmbr
# ./Qcmbr
Step 5: Setup WE866C3 module in Factory Test Mode
1. Connect the WE866C3 EVB to the SDIO slot in the Linux Laptop.
2. Make sure the Jumper Settings on the EVB are as shown below.

3. Next, connect an RF cable to WE866C3 EVB and CMW500 RF Communication
Tester.
4. Once the connection is established, execute the following commands:
sudo -s
Enter the password : password
