Why won't the FaST system on my Tennant Floor Machine operate?
    • E
      ewalkerSep 22, 2025
If the FaST system on your Tennant Floor Machine isn't working, first ensure the FaST switch is set for FaST system scrubbing, not conventional scrubbing. Check the FaST fuse and replace the 10A fuse if it's blown, determining the cause first. If the FaST PAK carton is empty or not connected, replace the carton and/or connect the supply hose. Also, check for a clogged filter screen, drain the solution tank, remove and clean the filter screen. Other potential issues include clogged FaST PAK supply hose and/or connectors (soak connector and hose in warm water and clean), clogged flow control orifice and/or screen (remove and clean orifice and/or screen), or the FaST system may not be primed (to prime, operate the FaST solution system for 3 minutes).

What to do if my Tennant 5700 has poor scrubbing performance?
    • E
      Edward Rivera MDAug 26, 2025
Poor scrubbing performance can stem from several factors. Debris might be caught on the scrub brushes, which needs to be removed. The scrub brushes or pads could be worn and need replacing. The scrub brush motor circuit breaker(s) may have tripped and need resetting. The battery charge might be low, requiring charging. You may need to adjust scrub brush down pressure. Also, consider that an improper detergent, brush, or pad may be in use.

    • T
      todd74Aug 26, 2025
If there's little to no solution flow, start by checking if the solution tank is empty and fill it if needed. Ensure the solution flow is turned on. The solution control cable might be broken or out of adjustment, requiring replacement or adjustment. The solution supply lines could be plugged and need flushing, or the solution supply line filter might be dirty and need cleaning. The solution solenoid might be clogged or stuck, so clean or replace it. If in ESt mode, ensure the ESt switch is on.

    • G
      Gary SuarezNov 22, 2025
Trailing water may occur due to several reasons. The squeegee blades might be worn and need rotating or replacing. The squeegee may be out of adjustment and needs adjusting. A vacuum hose could be clogged and needs flushing. The vacuum fan inlet screen might be dirty and needs cleaning. The recovery tank might be full and needs draining.
