Cartridge maintenance intervals
The air filter main cartridge must be replaced if, during
operation, the filter maintenance indicator lamp
(50/21) in the instrument panel lights up.
Replace the air filter safety cartridge:
after the third maintenance of the main cartridge
after 2 years of operation at the latest
if the service indicator switches on after the main
cartridge has just been serviced
if the main cartridge is damaged
if the safety cartridge is damaged.
Changing the main cartridge
Open the tension brackets (51/5) and remove the
cover (51/1) along with the dust ejection valve.
Withdraw the dirty air filter cartridge (51/2) by
carefully turning and tilting and dispose of it.
Note down the date of maintenance on the safety
cartridge.
Clean the filter housing (51/4) with a damp cloth,
especially the seal area for the air filter cartridge.
Check whether the new air filter cartridge is
damaged.
Mount the air filter cartridge into the filter housing
by slightly turning.
Re-mount the cover along with the dust ejection
valve to the bottom and re-fasten with tension
brackets (51/5).

Attention
A brief delay in maintenance does not result
in lower filter efficiency.
