7.8.16 Swing gear
7.8.17 Windshield washer system
• Top up the windshield washer tank (63/14) as
required.
• Add antifreeze when temperatures are around or
below freezing.
7.8.18 Electrical equipment
Battery
The battery (63/1) is located under the floor panel on
the left-hand side inside the cabin.
• Only check the battery with the engine switched
off.
• The acid level should be approx. 0.39 in above the
plates. If necessary, top up with pure distilled
water.
Attention
The swing gear is maintenance-free.
Recirculation lubrication is provided by the
hydraulic system.

Attention
The instructions of the battery manufacturer
must be observed when using the battery for
the first time.
Attention
In the case of maintenance-free batteries,
this check is not necessary.
