Battery Installation
Insert the batteries while observing the positive
(+) and negative (-) polarities as shown.
Service life of batteries
u The batteries normally last for a year although
this depends on how often the remote control
is used.
u If the remote control unit fails to work even
when it is operated near the player, replace
the batteries with new ones. Do not mix old
and new batteries
u Use size AAA UM-4 batteries (2 pieces).
Notes:
u Do not use rechargeable (Ni-Cd) batteries.
u Do not attempt to recharge, short circuit,
disassemble, heat or throw the batteries into
a fire.
u Do not drop or step on the remote control,
damaged parts may lead to a malfunction.
u Do not mix old and new batteries.
u If the remote control is not going to be used for
a long period of time, remove the batteries to
avoid storage damage.
u If a leaking electrolyte liquid from a faulty battery
comes into contact with your body, wash
thoroughly with water.
Remote control operation range
u The operation range of the remote control is
no more than 5m from and within about 60
degree of the front of the unit.
u The operating distance may vary according to
the brightness of the room.
Note:
u Do not point bright lights into the remote control
sensor.
u Do not place objects between the remote
control and the remote control sensor.
u Do not use this remote control together with
the remote control of other equipment.
