LIMITATIONS
|1.
The
KLN
94
GPS
Pilot’s
Guide,
P/N
006-18207-0000,
dated
September
2000
(or
later
applicable
revision)
must
be
available
to
the
flight
crew
whenever
IFR
GPS
navigation
is
used.
The
Operational
Revision
Status
(ORS)
of
the
Pilot's
Guide
must
match
the
ORS
level
annunciated
on
the
Self
Test
page.
2.
Navigation
is
prohibited
within
60
nautical
miles
of
the
North
and
South
Poles
(i.e.,
at
greater
than
89°
north
and
south
latitude).
3.
IFR
Navigation
is
restricted
as
follows:
a.
The
system
must
utilize
ORS
level
01
or
later
FAA
approved
revision.
b.
The
data
on
the
Self-Test
page
must
be
verified
prior
to
use.
c.
IFR
en
route
and
terminal
navigation
is
prohibited
unless
the
pilot
verifies
the
currency
of
the
database
or
verifies
each
selected
waypoint
for
accuracy
by
reference
to
current
approved
data.
d.
Instrument
approaches
must
be
accomplished
in
accordance
with
approved
instrument
approach
procedures
that
are
retrieved
from
the
KLN
94
database.
The
KLN
94
aeronautical
database
must
incorporate
the
current
update
cycle.
