6.2.4 TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM SWITCH_______________________________________
Press and release the front of the switch to activate the Traction Control System (TCS). The
controller sends the pulses to the lift circuit, which transfers the weight from the cutting unit to
the mower by decreasing down pressure. Decreased down pressure will improve the mower’s
traction, but TCS can cause the cutting units to lift off the ground, which can change the quality
of cut. When the TCS is active, the green light on the front of the switch is illuminated.
Press and release the front of the switch a second time to deactivate the TCS. The TCS turned
off will decrease the mower’s traction, but improve the cutting unit contact with the ground.
When the PTO switch is put in the ON position, the TCS is activated. Press and release the
TCS switch to deactivate traction control.
6.2.5 LEFT WING SWITCH _______________________________________________________
Press the front of the switch to allow the left side wing cutting unit to operate. If the PTO switch
in is the ON position, the left side wing cutting unit will lower to the ground and the blades will
start to rotate. Use the joystick to lift the cutting unit to the one-touch position.
Press the rear part of the switch to lift the left wing cutting unit to the transport position. Left wing
cutting unit will stop operating.
6.2.6 RIGHT WING SWITCH ______________________________________________________
Press the front of the switch to allow the left side wing cutting unit to operate. If the PTO switch
in is the ON position, the left side wing cutting unit will lower to the ground and the blades will
start to rotate. Use the joystick to lift the cutting unit to the one-touch position.
Press the rear part of the switch to lift the right wing cutting unit to the transport position. Right
wing cutting unit will stop operating.
NOTICE
To prevent damage to the mower, make sure that the left wing transport lock is disengaged
before you press the front of the switch. See 7.6
Wing deck does not automatically lower with PTO switch in the OFF position.
