4. Jog the pump by pressing the jog button next to the pump to feed
the tubing through the pump.
Notes:
• The 500-series pump requires that the tubing be fed in from the
side (Figure 2.12).
• Pumps should be calibrated before use. Use the same tubing
in calibration as will be used in the process. Otherwise, errors
in delivery volume may occur. See the appropriate TruBio
Bioprocessing Software User’s Guide Version 5.0 (DOC0088) to
calibrate the pumps.
• Ensure the tubing is not in danger of being kinked or occluded
by other equipment.
