Maintenance
Each G3Pro Universal Controller is fully tested before leaving the
factory. The unit requires minimal maintenance; Thermo Scientific
provides support, repair, maintenance, and refurbishment services for
all G3-series systems sold.
Any servicing of the unit should be done by Thermo Fisher Scientific
personnel only.
Power cords should be 14 AWG gauge wiring. Connections to the
equipment should comply with NEC/CEC regulations or equivalent and
all local codes.
All cabling should be protected from moving parts, foot trac,
chairs/stools, and any other source of abrasion that might compromise
the cable integrity.
For safety and compliance, the system must be grounded when in use.
A permanent true earth bonding conductor (14 AWG/1.5 mm minimum)
must be attached to the grounding stud shown on Figure 1.3.
All units (including the VAB) should be powered o during installation or
changing of components and the power cables disconnected from the
wall plug or other source.
