Enablingordisablingthewirelessfeatures
Toenableordisablethewirelessfeatures,dooneofthefollowing:
•ForWindows7:PressFn+F5toopenthewirelessradioswitchboard.Turnonorturnoffthewireless
featureasdesired.
•ForWindows8:PressFn+F5toenableordisabletheAirplanemode.WhentheAirplanemodeisenabled,
allofyourwirelessdevicesareturnedoff.
Youalsocanusethewirelessradioswitchtoturnonorturnoffthewirelessradiosofallthewirelessdevices
onyourcomputer.
Presentationsandmultimedia
Youcanconnectyourcomputertoaprojectortogivepresentationsoryoucanconnectyourcomputer
toanexternalmonitortoexpandyourworkspace.
Changingdisplaysettings
Youcanchangethedisplaysettings,suchasthedisplayresolution,fontsize,andsoon.

1.OpenControlPanelandclickAppearanceandPersonalization.

Attachinganexternalmonitor
Note:Ifyouattachanexternalmonitor,avideointerfacecablewithaferritecoreinstalledonthecable
isrequired.
Yourcomputercansupportamaximumvideoresolutionofupto2048x1536(withanexternalmonitor
attachedtotheVGAconnector)orupto2560x1600(withanexternalmonitorattachedtotheHDMI
connector),providedthattheexternalmonitoralsosupportsthatresolution.Formoredetails,referto
themanualsprovidedwithyourmonitor.
Youcansetanyresolutionforeitherthecomputerdisplayortheexternalmonitor.Whenyouusebothatthe
sametime,theresolutionofbothisthesame.Ifyousetahigherresolutionforthecomputerdisplay,you
canseeonlypartofthescreenatatime.YoucanseeotherpartsbymovingtheimagewiththeTrackPoint
pointingdeviceoranotherpointingdevice.
Youcanswitchthedisplayoutputbetweenthecomputerdisplayandtheexternalmonitor,orevenoutput
thedisplaytobothofthecomputerdisplayandtheexternalmonitorbychangingthecongurationin
theDisplaySettingswindow.
