Now carefully insert the brass weight into the
opening provided in the tonearm base (Fig. 7)
and then insert the aluminium bearing holder into
the same opening until it rests on the pre-as-
sembled rubber ring. Make sure that the nylon
thread does not become entangled and that it
can move freely. Now tighten the lateral clamp-
ing screw slightly. (Fig. 8) The assembly of the
anti-skating device is now complete. Should it
become necessary to readjust the anti-scating
force over time, this can be achieved by simply
moving the eyelet on the boom: Moving the
eyelet outwards increases the anti-skating force,
moving it inwards reduces it.
