2.Sitontheseat,engagetheparkingbrake,andmovethe
PTOtotheOFFposition.Moveeithermotion-control
leveroutoftheNEUTRAL-LOCKposition.Trystarting
theengine;theengineshouldnotcrank.Repeatfor
othermotion-controllever.
3.Sitontheseat,engagetheparkingbrake,movethe
PTOswitchtotheOFFposition,andmovethe
motion-controlleverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCKposition.
Starttheengine.Whiletheengineisrunning,release
theparkingbrake,engagethePTO,andriseslightly
fromtheseat;theengineshouldstopwithin2seconds.
4.Withoutanoperatorontheseat,engagetheparking
brake,movethePTOswitchtotheOFFposition,and
movethemotion-controlleverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCK
position.Starttheengine.Whiletheengineisrunning,
centereithermotioncontrol;theengineshouldstop
within2seconds.Repeatfortheothermotion-control
lever.
5.Withoutanoperatorontheseat,disengagetheparking
brake,movethePTOswitchtotheOFFposition,and
movethemotion-controlleverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCK
position.Trystartingtheengine;theengineshould
notcrank.
UsingtheSCMtoDiagnoseSystem

(SCM)monitoringsystemthattracksthefunctionofvarious
keysystems.TheSCMislocatedundertherightcontrol
panel.Accessitthroughthesidepanelcover(Figure11).
