1.Stopthemachine,movethemotion-controlleversto
theNEUTRAL-LOCKposition,settheparkingbrake,
andremovetheignitionkey.
2.Unlatchtheseatandpivotitforward.
Note:Ifyouneedadditionalaccessundertheseat,
youcanremovethesidepanels.
3.Loosenthe2jamnutssecuringtheparking-brake
interlockswitchtothemountingbracket.

contacttheswitchplunger.
5.Securetheswitchjamnuts.
6.Testtheadjustmentasfollows:
A.Ensurethattheparkingbrakeisengagedandyou
arenotsittingontheseat,thenstarttheengine.
B.MovethecontrolleversoutoftheNEUTRAL-LOCK
position.
Note:Theengineshouldstop.Ifnot,checkthe
adjustmentthatyoumadetotheswitch.
7.Lowertheseat.

Every100hours
1.Apply44N(10lb)offorcetothealternatorbelt,
midwaybetweenthepulleys.
2.Ifthedeectionisnot10mm(3/8inch),loosenthe
alternatormountingbolts(Figure38).
