mufers,andenginetohelppreventres.Cleanupoil
orfuelspills.
•Shutoffthefuelwhilestoringortransportingthe
machine,ifapplicable.
•Disengagethedrivetotheattachmentwheneveryouare
transportingornotusingthemachine.
•Usefull-widthrampsforloadingthemachineintoa
trailerortruck.Donotexceeda15°anglebetweenthe
rampandthetrailerortruck.
•Tiethemachinedownsecurelyusingstraps,chains,cable,
orropes.Bothfrontandrearstrapsshouldbedirected
downandoutwardfromthemachine.
•Allowtheenginetocoolbeforestoringthemachinein
anyenclosure.
•Neverstorethemachineorfuelcontainerwherethereis
anopename,spark,orpilotlight,suchasonawater
heateroronotherappliances.

Ifthemachinebreaksdown,runsoutoffuel,etc.,youmay
needtopullitwithawinchtoloaditontoatrailer.Todoso,
yourstneedtoopenthehydraulicbypassvalves.
Important:Nevertowthemachine,becausehydraulic
damagemayoccur.
ChangingtoMachineOperation
Rotateeachbypassvalveclockwise1turnandhand-tighten
them(Figure23).
Note:Thetorqueshouldbeapproximately8N∙m(71in-lb).
Donotovertightenthebypassvalves.
Youcannotdrivethemachineunlessthebypassvalvesare
turnedinward.
