Tochecktheoperationoftheinterlockswitches,perform
thefollowingprocedure:
1.Drivethemachineslowlytoalarge,relativelyopen
area.Lowerthecuttingunit,stoptheengine,andapply
theparkingbrake.
2.Sitontheseatanddepressthetractionpedal.Tryto
starttheengine.Theengineshouldnotcrank.Ifthe
enginecranks,thereisamalfunctionintheinterlock
systemthatshouldbecorrectedbeforebeginning
operation.
3.Sitontheseatandstarttheengine.Risefromtheseat
andmovethePTOlevertoOn.ThePTOshouldnot
engage.IfthePTOengages,thereisamalfunctionin
theinterlocksystemthatshouldbecorrectedbefore
beginningoperation.
4.Sitontheseat,engagetheparkingbrakeandstartthe
engine.Movethetractionpedaloutoftheneutral
position.TheInfoCenterwilldisplay“tractionnot
allowed”andthemachineshouldnotmove.Ifthe
enginedoesmove,thereisamalfunctioninthe
interlocksystemthatshouldbecorrectedbefore
beginningoperation.

System(ROPS)
WARNING
Toavoidinjuryordeathfromrollover:keepthe
rollbarintheraisedlockedpositionandusethe
seatbelt.
Ensurethattheseatissecuredwiththeseatlatch.
WARNING
Thereisnorolloverprotectionwhentherollbaris
inthedownposition.
•Lowertherollbaronlywhenabsolutely
necessary.
•Donotweartheseatbeltwhentherollbaris
inthedownposition.
•Driveslowlyandcarefully.
•Raisetherollbarassoonasclearancepermits.
•Checkcarefullyforoverheadclearances(i.e.
branches,doorways,electricalwires)before
drivingunderanyobjectsanddonotcontact
them.

PushingorTowingthe
Machine
Inanemergency,themachinecanbemovedforwardby
actuatingthebypassvalveinthevariabledisplacement
hydraulicpumpandpushingortowingthemachine.
Important:Donotpushortowthemachinefasterthan
3-4.8km/h(2-3MPH)becauseinternaltransmission
damagemayoccur.Thebypassvalvesmustbeopen
wheneverthemachineispushedortowed.
1.Raisetheseat.Thebypassvalvesarelocatedbelowthe
frontofthefueltank(Figure33).
2.Rotateeachvalve3turnscounter-clockwisetoopen
andallowoiltobypassinternally.Donotopen
morethan3turns.Becauseuidisbypassed,the
machinecanbeslowlymovedwithoutdamagingthe
transmission.
3.Closethebypassvalvesbeforestartingtheengine.
Torqueto70N-m(52ft-lb)toclosethevalve.
