position,settheparkingbrake,returnthethrottle
settingtolowidleandrotatetheignitionkeytoOff.
Removethekeyfromtheswitchtopreventaccidental
starting.
Important:Allowenginetoidlefor5minutesbefore
shuttingitoffafterafullloadoperation.Failuretodo
somayleadtoturbo-chargertrouble.
SmartPower
WithToroSmartPower™,theoperatordoesnothave
tolistentotheenginespeedinheavyconditions.Smart
Powerpreventsboggingdowninheavyturfbyautomatically
controllingthemachinespeedandoptimizingcutting
performance.Theoperatorcansimplysetamaxground
speedthatiscomfortable,andmowwithouthavingto
manuallyreducethetractionspeedwhenmowinginheavy
conditions.
ReversingFanOperation
Thefanspeediscontrolledbyhydraulicoiltemperatureand
enginecoolanttemperature.Areversecycleisautomatically
initiatedwheneithertheenginecoolantorhydraulicoil
temperaturereachesacertainpoint.Thisreversalwillhelp
blowdebrisofftherearscreenandlowertheengineand
hydraulicoiltemperatures.Bysimultaneouslypressingthe
rightandleftbuttonsontheInfoCenter,thefanwillcomplete
amanuallyinitiatedreversecycle.Itisrecommendedto
manuallyreversethefanpriortotransportingonroads,
enteringtheshoporastoragearea.
AutoIdle
Themachineisequippedwithautoidlewhichautomatically
idlestheenginewhenallofthefollowingfunctionsare
notused,forapredeterminedtime,previouslysetinthe
InfoCenter.
Thetractionpedalisreturnedtotheneutralposition
ThePTOisdisengaged
Noneoftheliftswitchesareactivated
Whenanyoftheabovefunctionsareinitiated,the
machinewillautomaticallyreturntothepreviousthrottle
position.
MowSpeed
Supervisor(ProtectedMenu)
Allowsthesupervisortosetthemachine’smaximummowing
speed,inincrementsof50%,75%or100%,atwhichthe
operatorcanmow(lowrange).
RefertoUsingtheInfoCenterLCDDisplay,intheOperation
sectionofthismanual,fortheproceduretosetthemow
speed.
Operator
Allowstheoperatortoadjustthemachine’smaximummowing
speed(lowrange),withinthesupervisorspre-adjusted
settings.WhenintheInfoCentersplashormainscreen,press
themiddlebutton(icon)toadjustthespeed.
Note:Whenswitchingbetweenlowandhighranges,the
settingswilltransferbasedontheprevioussetting.The
settingsareresetwhenthemachineisturnedoff.

CheckingtheInterlock
Switches
CAUTION
Ifsafetyinterlockswitchesaredisconnectedor
damagedthemachinecouldoperateunexpectedly
causingpersonalinjury.
Donottamperwiththeinterlockswitches.
Checktheoperationoftheinterlockswitches
dailyandreplaceanydamagedswitchesbefore
operatingthemachine.
Themachinehasinterlockswitchesintheelectricalsystem.
Theseswitchesaredesignedtostoptractionwhenthe
operatorgetsoffoftheseatwhenthetractionpedalis
depressed.Althoughtheenginewillcontinuetorun,itis
