edgesofbothwingcuttingunitsandadjustasnecessary

Whilesittingintheseat,adjusttherearviewmirror
(Figure31)toattainthebestviewouttherearwindow.Pull
theleverrearwardtotiltthemirrortoreducethebrightness
andglareoflight.
SideViewMirrors
Whilesittingintheseat,haveahelperadjustthesideview
mirrors(Figure31)toattainthebestviewaroundthesideof
themachine.

AimingtheHeadlights
1.Loosenthemountingnutsandpositioneachheadlight
sothatitpointsstraightahead.Tightenthemounting
nutjustenoughtoholdtheheadlightinposition.
2.Placeaatpieceofsheetmetaloverthefaceofthe
headlight.
3.Mountamagneticprotractorontotheplate.While
holdingtheassemblyinplace,carefullytilttheheadlight
downward3degrees,thentightenthenut.
4.Repeattheprocedureontheotherheadlight.
StartingandStoppingthe
Engine
Important:Thefuelsystemwillautomaticallybleed
itselfwhenanyofthefollowingsituationsoccur:
Initialstartupofanewmachine.
Theenginehasceasedrunningduetolackoffuel.
Maintenancehasbeenperformeduponthefuelsystem
components.
1.Ensurethattheparkingbrakeisset.Removeyourfoot
fromthetractionpedalandensurethatitisinneutral.
2.TurntheignitionkeytotheRunposition.
3.Whentheglowindicatordims,turntheignitionkey
totheStartposition.Releasethekeyimmediately
whentheenginestartsandallowittoreturntothe
Runposition.Allowenginetowarmupatmidspeed
(withoutload),thenmovethethrottlecontroltothe
desiredposition.
Important:Donotrunthestartermotormore
than30secondsatatimeorprematurestarter
failuremayresult.Iftheenginefailstostart
after30seconds,turnthekeytotheOffposition,
recheckthecontrolsandprocedures,wait30
additionalseconds,andrepeatthestarting
procedure.
