Onmulti-spindlemowers,takecareasrotatingone
bladecancauseotherbladestorotate.
Disengagedrives,lowerthecuttingunits,setparking
brake,stopengineandremovekeyanddisconnect
sparkplugwire(gasengineonly).Waitforall
movementtostopbeforeadjusting,cleaningor
repairing.
Cleangrassanddebrisfromcuttingunits,drives,
silencers/mufers,andenginetohelppreventres.
Cleanupoilorfuelspillage.
Usejackstandstosupportcomponentswhen
required.
Carefullyreleasepressurefromcomponentswith
storedenergy.
Disconnectbatteryandremovesparkplugwire(gas
engineonly)beforemakinganyrepairs.Disconnect
thenegativeterminalrstandthepositivelast.
Reconnectpositiverstandnegativelast.
Usecarewhencheckingtheblades.Wearglovesand
usecautionwhenservicingthem.
Keephandsandfeetawayfrommovingparts.If
possible,donotmakeadjustmentswiththeengine
running.
Chargebatteriesinanopenwellventilatedarea,
awayfromsparkandames.Unplugchargerbefore
connectingordisconnectingfrombattery.Wear
protectiveclothinganduseinsulatedtools.
Storethemachinewiththecuttingunitsinthe
loweredpositionorsecurethewingdeckswiththe
storagelatchestopreventthemfromunintentionally
lowering.

protectionsystem)alwaysusetheseatbelt.
Raisethecuttingunitswhendrivingfromonework
areatoanother.
Donottouchtheengine,silencer/mufer,or
exhaustpipewhiletheengineisrunningorsoon
afterithasstoppedbecausetheseareascouldbehot
enoughtocauseburns.
Onanyhill,thereisthepossibilityoftippingor
rollingover,buttheriskincreasesastheslopeangle
increases.Steephillsshouldbeavoided.
Cuttingunitsmustbeloweredwhengoingdown
slopestomaintainsteeringcontrol
Engagetractiondriveslowly,alwayskeepfooton
tractionpedal,especiallywhentravelingdownhill.
Usereverseontractionpedalforbraking.
