OperatingthePower
Takeoff(PTO)
Thepowertakeoff(PTO)switchstartsandstopsthe
mowerbladesandanypoweredattachments.
EngagingthePTO
1.Iftheengineiscold,allowtheenginetowarm
up5to10minutesbeforeengagingthePTO.
2.Whileseatedintheseat,releasethepressureon
thetractioncontrolleversandplaceinNEUTRAL.
3.PlacethethrottleintheFASTposition.
Note:EngagingthePTOwiththethrottleat
thehalforlesspositioncausesexcessivewear
tothedrivebelts.
4.Pulloutonthepowertakeoff(PTO)switchto
engageit(Figure15).
