1.DisengagethePTO,movethemotion-control
leverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCKposition,andsetthe
parkingbrake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Cleanthegreasettingswitharag.Makesure
toscrapeanypaintoffthefrontofthetting(s).
4.Connectagreaseguntothetting.Pump
greaseintothettingsuntilgreasebeginsto
oozeoutofthebearings.
5.Wipeupanyexcessgrease.
GreasingtheFrontCaster
Pivots
Lubricatethefrontcasterpivotsonceayear.
1.Removethedustcapandadjustthecaster
pivots.Keepthedustcapoffuntilgreasing
isdone.RefertoAdjustingtheCaster-Pivot
Bearing(page45).
2.Removethehexplug.Threadagreasetting
intothehole.
3.Pumpgreaseintothettinguntilitoozesout
aroundthetopbearing.
4.Removethegreasettinginthehole.Installthe
hexplugandcap.
