lawnmowerfordamageandmakerepairs
beforerestartingandoperatingtheequipment;
ifthemachinestartstovibrateabnormally

•Shutofftheengineanddisengagedriveto

MaintenanceandStorage
•Keepallnuts,bolts,andscrewstighttobesure
theequipmentisinsafeworkingcondition.
•Neverstoretheequipmentwithfuelinthetank
insideabuildingwherefumescanreachanopen
ameorspark.
•Allowtheenginetocoolbeforestoringinany
enclosure.
•Toreducetherehazard,keeptheengine,
silencer,batterycompartmentandfuelstorage
areafreeofgrass,leaves,orexcessivegrease.
•Checkthegrasscatcherfrequentlyforwearor
deterioration.
•Replacewornordamagedpartsforsafety.
•Ifyoumustdrainthefueltank,thisshouldbedone
outdoors.
•Onmulti-bladedmachines,takecareasrotating1
