9.Pullthemowerdeckforwardtoremoveitfrom

InstallingtheMowerDeck
Important:Donottransportthemachinewithout
anapprovedTorofrontmountattachment.
1.Shutofftheengine,waitforallmovingpartsto
stopandremovethekey.Engagetheparking
brake.
2.Rollthemowerdeckuptothemachinewiththe
dischargetubedown,makingsurethatthedeck
springsarelocatedabovethedrivewheeland
belowtheconsoleoneachside.
3.Raisetheseatandinstallthedriveshaftonto
thejackshaft(Figure70)
4.Alignthemower-deckpush-armtubestothe
machinepush-armsandpushthemowerdeck
rearward.
5.Securethepusharmswiththelynchpinsonthe
leftandrightsidesofthemachine(Figure68).
6.AligntheupperportionoftherubberPTOguard
tothetabsonthefrontoftheconsoleandsecure
withaclevispinandhairpincotteroneachside
(Figure69).
7.Releasethemower-decklockingpinsoneach
side,raisethemowerdecktotheservice
position,andsecurethedecklatchontohook.

8.Installthespringsontothespringanchorpins
undertheleftandrightconsolesandsecurewith
awasherandhairpincotter(Figure67).
9.Unlatchthemowerdeckfromtheraisedposition,
slowlylowerthemowerdecktoground,and
lockthedeck-lockingpinsoneachside.Refer
toLoweringtheMowerDecktotheOperating
Position(page18).

1.Slidethemower-decklockingpinsinonboth
sidesandrotatetolockthedeckintheoperation
position.
2.Loosenthejamnutandturnthestopscrew
clockwiseuntilthelockingpinistightandcannot
berotatedbyhand(Figure71).
