lawnmowertothrowobjectsintheoperator'sor
bystander'sdirectionandresultinseriousinjury.
Also,contactwiththebladecouldoccur.Never
operatethemachinewithoutthegrassdeector,
thedischargecover,orthegrass-collectionsystem
inplace.
Neveroperatethemachinewithoutthegrass
deector,thedischargecover,orthegrass-collection
systeminplace.
Inspectthegrassdeectorfordamagebeforeeachuse.
Replaceanydamagedpartsbeforeuse.
1.Removethenut(3/8inch)fromtherodunderthe
mower(Figure68).
