Tighten the spark plug(s) to 25 to 30 N∙m (18.5 to 22.1 ft-lb).

Cleaning the Cooling
System
Clean the air intake screen from grass and debris before each
use.
1. Disengage the blade-control switch and move the
motion-control levers to the PARK position.
2. Shut off the engine, remove the key, and wait for all
moving parts to stop before leaving the operating
position.
3. Remove the air lter from the engine.
4. Remove the engine shroud.
5. To prevent debris entering the air intake, install the air
lter to the lter base.
6. Clean debris and grass from the parts.
7. Remove the air lter and install the engine shroud.
8. Install the air lter.
