DANGER
In certain conditions, fuel is extremely ammable
and highly explosive. A re or explosion from fuel
can burn you, others, and can damage property.
Perform any fuel-related maintenance when the
engine is cold. Do this outdoors in an open area.
Wipe up any fuel that spills.
Never smoke when draining fuel, and stay away
from an open ame or where a spark may ignite
the fuel fumes.
Replacing the In-Line Fuel
Filter
Service Interval: Every 100 hours/Yearly (whichever comes
rst)—Check the in-line fuel lter.
Every 200 hours/Every 2 years (whichever comes
rst)—Replace the in-line fuel lter.
Never install a dirty lter if it is removed from the fuel line.
1. Park the machine on a level surface and disengage the
blade-control switch.
2. Ensure that the brake is engaged, shut off the engine,
remove the key, and wait for all moving parts to stop
before leaving the operating position.
