LubricatingtheCasterWheelBearings
Important:Topreventsealandbearingdamage,check
thebearingadjustmentoftenbyspinningthecaster
tire.Thetireshouldnotspinfreely(morethan1or2
revolutions)orhaveanysideplay.Ifthewheelspins
freely,adjusttorqueonspacernutuntilthereisaslight
amountofdrag.Aftercheckingthebearing,applya
thread-lockingadhesive.
1.Removethecasterwheelfromthecasterforks.

5.Pryoutseals,andinspectbearingsforwearordamage.
Note:Replacethebearingsifnecessary.
6.Packthebearingswithageneral-purposegrease.
7.Insertonebearing,onenewsealintothewheel.
Note:Thesealsmustbereplaced.
8.Iftheaxleassemblyhashadbothspacernutsremoved
(orbrokenloose),applyathread-lockingadhesive
toonespacernutandthreadontotheaxlewiththe
wrenchatsfacingoutward.
