1.Startandruntheengineforafewminutesto
warmtheengineoil.
2.Attherearofthemachine,placeadrainpan
underthedrainplug(Figure34).Loosenthe
drainplug.
3.Pushdownonthehandletotipthemachineand
enginebackward,allowingalltheoiltoruninto
thedrainpan.
Important:Donottipthemachineatan
anglegreaterthan25°.Tippingthemachine
beyond25°leadstooilleakingintothe
combustionchamberand/orfuelleakingout
ofthefuel-tankcap.
4.Installthedrainplugandrellthecrankcase
withthespeciedoil.
5.Torquethedrainplugto20to23N∙m(15to17
ft-lbs).
6.Wipeupanyspilledoil.
7.Disposeoftheusedoilproperly.Recycleasper
localcodes.

2.Removethewingnutthatsecurestheair-cleaner
