1.Movetheservice/parkingbrakelevertotheOFF
position.
2.Removethecontrolpanel.
3.Toincreasethecabletension,loosentheupper
cablejamnutandtightenthelowercablejam
nut(Figure43)untilaforceof156N(35lb)
appliedtothebrake-leverhandleisrequiredto
releasetheparking-brakelatch.
Important:Donotoveradjustthebrake,as
thebrakebandmaydrag.
