CalibratingtheSectionValves
Important:IfyouhavetheProControl™SpraySystem
installed,theboombypassvalvesmustbeclosed.Use
thefollowingadjustmentonlywhenyouarenotusing
theProControlSpraySystem.
Beforeusingthesprayerforthersttimeorifthenozzlesare
changed,adjustthesectionvalvessothatthepressureand
applicationrateremainsthesameforallboomsectionswhen
youturnoneormoresectionsoff.
Note:Thesectionvalvesmustbecalibratedeachtimethe
nozzlesarechanged.
Important:IfmachineisequippedwithaProControl™
SpraySystem,disregardthefollowingstepsbelowthis
importantnoteforcalibratingthesectionvalvesand
readthisnotice:WhenusingaProControl™system,
thesectionvalvesarenotused;closethesectionvalves
byrotatingtheredbypassknobsclockwise.Thevalve
isclosedonceyoufeelaslightresistancewhilerotating
theknob.Applyingexcessivetorquetothebypassknob
coulddamagethevalve.Thebypassknobmayrequire
3to4fullrotations(360°=1rotation)tocompletely
closethevalve.Thenumbersprintedonthevalveare
forreferenceonly;settingtheknobto“0”doesnot
guaranteethevalveisclosed.IfyouareusingthePro
Control™system,youdonotneedtoadjustthesection
valvesoncetheyareclosed.Ifyouusethemachineto
spraymanually(withouttheProControl™system),refer
tothestepsforcalibratingtheboombypassvalvesprior
tousingthemachine.
