1.Lookatthecenterofthesparkplugs(Figure23).
Ifyouseelightbrownorgrayontheinsulator,
theengineisoperatingproperly.Ablackcoating
ontheinsulatorusuallymeansthattheair
cleanerisdirty.

1.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
2.Disconnectthewiresfromthesparkplugs
(Figure24).

to22ft-lb).
3.Connectthewirestothesparkplugs(Figure23).

Beforeeachuse,checkandcleantheenginescreen
andoilcooler.Removeanybuildupofgrass,dirtor
otherdebrisfromtheoilcoolerandenginescreen
