1.Parkthetractionunitandmachineonalevel
surface,disengagethePTO,engagetheparking
brake,shutofftheengine,removethekey,and
waitforallmovingpartstostopbeforeleaving
theoperator'sseat.
2.Installthestoragestandsandsecurethemto
themachinewiththelynchpins(Figure43).

3.Slowlylowerthemachineuntilthestorage
standscontacttheground.
4.Loosenthelockingnutandrotatetheupper
adjustinglinktoreleasethetensionbetweenthe
machineandthetractionunit.
5.Removethelynchpinandthetoplinkpin
securingthecenterlinktothebracket.Retain
thelynchpinandthetoplinkpinwiththe
machine.
6.Disconnectthesafetyshieldchainsfromthe
tractionunitPTO(CEonly).
7.Pullbackonthelockcollartodisconnectthe
PTOdriveshaftfromthePTOoutputshafton
thetractionunit.
8.SlidethePTOdriveshaftbackandremoveit
fromthetractionunit.
9.SupportthePTOdriveshaftbyconnectingthe
PTOtethertothePTOshieldtopreventthe
driveshaftfromcontactingtheground(Figure
44).
