BeforeOperationSafety
•Donotoperatethemachineunlessallsafety
switchesandotherdevicesareinplaceand
workingproperly.
•Beforeleavingtheoperator'spositionforany
reason,dothefollowing:
–Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
–Disengagethedrivesandthepowertake-off.
–Engagetheparkingbrake.
–Shutoffthemachineandremovethekey.
–Waitforallmovingpartstostop.
•Beforemowing,alwaysinspectthemachineto
ensurethattheblades,bladebolts,andcutting
assembliesareingoodworkingcondition.
•Thisproductgeneratesanelectromagneticeld.
Ifyouwearanimplantableelectronicmedical
device,consultyourhealthcareprofessional
beforeusingthisproduct.
•Useonlyaccessoriesandattachmentsapproved
byT oro.
•Donotcarrypassengersonthemachineand
keepbystandersandpetsawayfromthemachine
duringoperation.
•Thismachineproducesasoundpowerlevelthat
exceeds85dBAattheoperator’sear,whichcan
causehearinglossthroughextendedperiods
ofexposure.Wearhearingprotectionwhen
operatingthismachine.
•Beforeoperatingthemachine,ensurethat
theoperatorpresencecontrolsandeitherthe
dischargedeectorortheentiregrasscollection
systemareinplaceandworkingproperly.
Otherwise,donotoperatethemachine.
•Whenyoushutoffthemachine,thebladesshould
stop.Ifnot,stopusingthemachineimmediately
andcontactanAuthorizedServiceDealer.
•Shutoffthemachineandattachment(s)ifanyone
entersthearea.

WARNING
Toavoidinjuryordeathfromrollover,keep
therollbarinthefullyraised,lockedposition
andusetheseatbelt.
Ensurethattheseatissecuredtothe
machine.
WARNING
Thereisnorolloverprotectionwhentheroll
barisinthedownposition.
•Lowertherollbaronlywhenabsolutely
necessary.
•Donotweartheseatbeltwhentherollbar
isinthedownposition.
•Driveslowlyandcarefully.
•Raisetherollbarassoonasclearance
permits.
•Checkcarefullyforoverheadclearances
(i.e.,branches,doorways,electricalwires)
beforedrivingunderanyobjectsanddo
notcontactthem.
