KeySwitch
Thekeyswitch,usedtostartandshutofftheengine,has3
positions:OFF,RUN,andSTART.
•Tostarttheengine,rotatethekeytotheRUNposition,
theglow-pluglightcomeson.Whentheglow-pluglight
turnsoff,turnthekeytotheSTARTposition.Releasethe
keywhentheenginestartsanditmovesautomatically
totheRUNposition.
•Toshutofftheengine,rotatethekeytotheOFFposition.
ThrottleLever
Movethecontrolforwardtoincreasetheenginespeedand
rearwardtodecreasespeed.
ChokeLever
Beforestartingacoldengine,movethechokeleverforward.
Aftertheenginestarts,regulatethechoketokeeptheengine
runningsmoothly.Assoonaspossible,movethechokelever
allthewayrearward.
Note:Awarmenginerequireslittleornochoking.
