Ifthetractionunitcreepsforwardorbackwardwhenthe
tractioncontrolisinneutralandtheunitiswarm,immediately
completethefollowingprocedure:
1.Lift/supportthetractionunitsothatbothtracksare
offtheground.
2.Opentherear-accesscover.
3.Loosenthejamnutsonthetractionrods,underthe
controlpanel(Figure57).

WARNING
Whenthetractionunitisrunning,youcould
becaughtandinjuredinmovingpartsor

5.Ifthelefttrackmoves,lengthenorshortentheright
tractionroduntilthetrackstopsmoving.

tractionroduntilthetrackstopsmoving.
7.Tightenthejamnuts.
8.Closetherear-accesscover.
9.Shutofftheengineandlowerthetractionunittothe
ground.
10.Drivethetractionunitinfullreverse,checkingto
seeiftheunittracksstraight.Ifitdoesnot,notethe
directionthetractionunitveers.Repeattheadjustment
previouslydescribedsothatittracksstraightinreverse.

Position
Ifthetractionunitdoesnotdrivestraightwhenyouhold
thetractioncontrolagainstthereferencebar,completethe
followingprocedure:
1.Drivethetractionunitwiththetractioncontrolagainst
thereferencebar,notingwhichdirectionthetraction
unitveers.
2.Releasethetractioncontrol.
3.Ifthetractionunitveerstotheleft,loosentheright
jamnutandadjustthetrackingsetscrewonthefront
ofthetractioncontrol(Figure58).
4.Ifthetractionunitveerstotheright,loosentheleft
jamnutandadjustthetrackingsetscrewonthefront
ofthetractioncontrol(Figure58).
