1.Lowertheloaderarms,shutofftheengine,andremove
thekey.
2.Syphonthefuelfromthetankusingapump-type
syphon.
Note:Nowisthebesttimetoinstallanewfuellterbecause
thefueltankisempty.

corroded,cleanthemwithasolutionof4partswaterand
1partbakingsoda.Applyalightcoatingofgreasetothe
batteryterminalstoreducecorrosion.

1.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
2.Removethe4boltssecuringthebatterycoverand
removeitfromoverthebattery.
3.Lookatthesideofthebattery.Theelectrolytemust
beuptotheUpperline(Figure43).Donotallowthe
electrolytetofallbelowtheLowerline(Figure43).
