Turntheoillterclockwiseuntiltherubbergasket
contactsthelteradapter,thentightenthelteran
additional1/2turn.
8.Fillthecrankcasewiththepropertypeofnewoil;refer
toChangingtheOil(page30).
ServicingtheSparkPlugs
ServiceInterval:Every200hours—Checkthesparkplugs.
Ensurethattheairgapbetweenthecenterandsideelectrodes
iscorrectbeforeinstallingeachsparkplug.Useaspark-plug
wrenchforremovingandinstallingthesparkplugsanda
gappingtool/feelergaugetocheckandadjusttheairgap.
Installnewsparkplugsifnecessary.
Type:ChampionXC12YC,orequivalent.AirGap:0.75mm
(0.03inch)
RemovingtheSparkPlugs
1.Lowertheloaderarms,shutofftheengine,andremove
thekey.
2.Openthehood.
3.Pullthewiresoffthesparkplugs(Figure40).
