leaksornozzlesthatejecthigh-pressure
hydraulicuid.
•Usecardboardorpapertondhydraulicleaks;
neveruseyourhands.
CAUTION
Hydrauliccouplers,hydrauliclines/valves,and
hydraulicuidmaybehot.Ifyoucontacthot
components,youmaybeburned.
•Weargloveswhenoperatingthehydraulic
couplers.
•Allowthetractionunittocoolbeforetouching
hydrauliccomponents.
•Donottouchhydraulic-uidspills.
Iftheattachmentrequireshydraulicsforoperation,connect
thehydraulichosesasfollows:
1.Shutofftheengine.
2.Movetheauxiliary-hydraulicsleverforward,backward,
andbacktotheneutralpositiontorelievepressureat
thehydrauliccouplers.
3.Movetheauxiliary-hydraulicsleverforwardintothe
DETENTposition.
4.Removetheprotectivecoversfromthehydraulic
couplersonthetractionunit.
5.Ensurethatallforeignmatteriscleanedfromthe
hydraulicconnectors.
6.Pushtheattachmentmaleconnectorintothefemale
connectoronthetractionunit.
Note:Whenyouconnecttheattachmentmale
connectorrst,yourelieveanypressurebuildupinthe
attachment.
7.Pushtheattachmentfemaleconnectorintothemale
connectoronthetractionunit.
8.Conrmthattheconnectionissecurebypullingon
thehoses.
9.Movetheauxiliary-hydraulicslevertotheNEUTRAL
position.
MaximumMaterialDensityatCapacity
Thedensityofmaterialsbeingmovedbythebucketvaries
andthereforesowilltheamountofagivenmaterialthatcan
becarriedbythebucketbeforethemaximumloadratingis
reached.Thersttableliststhedensityofmaterialthatcan
becarried,bothheapedandstruck(i.e.,leveledoff),inthe
bucket.Thesecondtablelistscommonmaterialsandtheir
densities.
Tomovematerialswithdensitiesgreaterthanthemaximum
allowedforthebucket,reducethevolumeofmaterialplaced
inthebucket.
