Installing the FL Inverter Board (DSTN)
To install the FL inverter board, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-44.
1. Seat the FL inverter board.
2. Connect the FL inverter cable to CN1 and the FL cable to CN2 on the FL
inverter board.
3. Secure the FL inverter board with two M2.5x6 screws. Be sure the contrast
control wheel is fitted into its opening in the case.
4. Connect the contrast control cable to the contrast control board.
NOTE: Support the back of the display with your hand when you secure the
screws.
5. Secure the contrast control board with one M2.5x6 screw. Be sure the left
screw secures the ground cable.
6. Replace the tape on the FL inverter cable.
7. Install the display mask, optional memory card, optional PC card and battery pack
as described in Sections 4.16, 4.4, 4.3, and 4.2.
