QUESTIONS FOR ERROR CODES
2D30 Failure to create directory Check that the access privilege to the storage directory is
writable and also that the disk in the directory has enough
space. Then reattempt the job in error.
If more than one job is performed simultaneously, the
error may occur because the storage device temporarily
runs out of space. I Wait for a while and reattempt the
operation. If the error still persists, turn the power OFF and
then back ON. Then reattempt the job in operation.
2D31, 2D33 Failure to create file Check that the access privilege to the storage directory is

highly compressed PDF format, reattempt the operation. If
the error still persists, use the normal PDF format. When
this error has occurred while converting the file to other
than a highly compressed PDF format, turn the power OFF
and then back ON. Then reattempt the operation. If the
error still persists, contact your service representative.
2D43 Encryption error. Failure to create a file Perform the job again. If the error still persists, turn the
power OFF and then back ON. Then reattempt the
operation.
2D44 Creating a file was not allowed Creating an unencrypted file was not allowed. Configure
the encryption settings and reattempt the job in error. To
create an unencrypted file, ask your administrator.
2D50 Executed [Scan to File] without logging
in being done by a user or department
in the setting which requires
authentication
Have a user or a department log in and reattempt [Scan to
File].
2D62 Failure to connect to the network Make sure that the network path is correct, and retry the
scan. If the error still occurs, ask your administrator to
confirm whether the IP address or path of the server is
correct. Also make sure that the server is operating
properly.
2D63 Invalid network path specified Make sure you specify correct network folder and retry the
scan. In case of Meta scan, confirm the destination path.
2D64 Failure to log into the file server Make sure you specify correct user name and password to
logon the file server and retry the scan.
2D66 Failed to process your job. Insufficient
Storage space.
Reduce the number of pages of the job in error and
reattempt the operation. In addition, check whether the
server or local storage device has sufficient space in its
storage capacity.
2D67 FTP service is not available Ask your administrator whether the FTP service is
configured correctly.
