150 SETTING NETWORK FUNCTIONS

Specify following items as required.
y ENABLE APPLETALK — Press the [ENABLE] button to enable the AppleTalk, or
[DISABLE] button to disable the AppleTalk.
y [DEVICE NAME] — Press this to enter the AppleTalk name of this equipment.
y [DESIRED ZONE] — Press this to enter the AppleTalk zone name this equipment
joins. If your AppleTalk network has not been configured with a zone, you do not
have to enter the zone name.
When you press the [APPLETALK NAME] and [DESIRED ZONE] buttons, the input
screen is displayed. Enter the value using the keyboard and digital keys, and press the
[ENTER] button to set the entry.

Press the [ENTER] button.
y Returns you to the NETWORK menu.

Continue to another network setting if required, then press the
[APPLY NOW] button.
y The "NETWORK INITIALIZING" message is displayed and this equipment starts ini-
tializing the network interface card to apply the changes.
