18 Clearing a Paper Jam

Close the transport guide.

Lower the original feeder tray.
Paper jam in the External Large Capacity Feeder (optional)
Be careful not to let your fingers be caught between the equipment and the External Large Capacity Feeder.

Raise the green lever, open the transport guide and
remove the original.

Raise the original feeder tray and remove the original
under the guide plate.

Close the upper cover.

Pushing the lock lever, separate the External Large
Capacity Feeder (optional) from the equipment.
