22 Clearing a Paper Jam
 Paper jam in the bypass tray
 Paper jam in the right side of the equipment
Do not touch the fuser unit or the metal portion around it.
Since they are very hot, you could be burned or the shock could cause you to injure your hand in the machine.
 Transport unit

Check that there is no folded/curled paper or
overloading, then close the drawer.
Be sure that the height of the stacked paper does not exceed the
line indicated inside of the side guides.

Pull out the paper jammed on the bypass tray and
place it again.
If a sheet of paper is stained, folded or torn, replace it with a new one.

Pushing the lock lever, pull out the duplexing unit
from the equipment until it stops.
Be careful not to touch the slide rails (A in the figure).
This could injure you.

Remove the jammed paper.
