(2) Incline the developer unit and discharge the
developer material from the part denoted with
the arrow.

Filling developer unit with developer material
(1) Install the developer nozzle jig on the devel-
oper bottle.
(2) Rotate the gear on the rear side of the devel-
oper unit to the direction of the arrow while
filling the developer unit with the developer
material. Spread out the developer material
over the developer sleeve.
Note:
When installing the upper cover of developer unit,
attach the latches securely.

(1) Discharge the developer material
( Chapter 12.5 (B-1)).
(2) Make a note of the position where the polarity
adjustment lever is pointing.
(Mark the position if needed.)
