■ Tire chain installation
Observe the following precautions when installing and removing chains:
● Install and remove tire chains in a safe location.
● Install tire chains on the rear tires. Do not install tire chains on the front tires.
● Install tire chains on rear tires as tightly as possible. Retighten chains after
driving 0.5 - 1.0 km (1/4 - 1/2 mile).
● Install tire chains following the instructions provided with the tire chains.
■ Tips for starting the engine in cold locations (LPG engine)
● When the ambient temperature is low (5°C [41°F] or lower), let the engine
idle until the engine coolant temperature gauge starts moving. LPG fuel may
not vaporize adequately when the outside air temperature is low, possibly
causing the engine to stall or be difficult to restart.
● If the engine does not start or stalls after starting, the regulator may be fro-
zen.
In this case, apply lukewarm water to the regulator to warm it.
Be careful not to spill the lukewarm water beyond the regulator.
● If the vehicle is driven in a cold area, use fuel designed for use in a cold
area.
