Sewing thick fabric

When sewing thick fabric from the edge, the presser
foot may tilt and be unable to feed through the fabric.
Place fabric or thick paper of the same thickness as
the fabric you wish to sew under the presser foot.
This will enable smooth sewing.

Sewing is easier if thin paper is laid out under the
fabric.
