9. Embroidery
A free machine embroidery pattern can be created. Trace your design on the material and centre it
in an embroidery hoop. Lay stabilizer underneath thin fabric.
Install a darning adapter and then sew.
For model 7140, DE21 use the drop feed that comes with the sewing machine instead of a darning
adapter. (refer to P.45 [Using the drop feed])
Before setting the darning adapter, remove the power plug from the outlet.
Not doing so could cause an injury.
Align the accessory darning adapter with the
insertion holes.
Insert until there is a locking sound to install to
the needle plate.
