Maintenance
Open the left and right stoppers to the outside.
(in the direction of the arrow.)
Take out the shuttle hook cover.
Take out the shuttle hook.
Wipe the shuttle race clean with a brush or soft
cloth.
Apply one drop of oil to the shuttle race.
Note 1: If too much oil is applied it could cause
trouble such as dirty thread or bobbins,
or sewing malfunctions.
Keep to this small amount.
Note 2: Use the oil supplied with your machine
or special oil for sewing machines.
Other oils could cause mechanical prob-
lems.
