Installing BCI2-C in the Chiller Control Panel
Before installing the BCI2-C kit, open the box and verify that
the following parts are enclosed:
Important: Visually inspect contents for obvious defects or
damage. All components have been
thoroughly inspected before leaving the
factory. Any claims for damage incurred during
shipment should be filed immediately with the
carrier.
Installation
Important: Before beginning installation, it is important to
read the following safety warnings. Procedures
presented in this guide should be performed
only by qualified HVAC technicians.
Note: All mounting holes for brackets and DIN rail have been
pre-drilled.
To install the BCI2-C:
1. Disconnect all power from the chiller.
2. Open the control panel and mount the brackets
(573178900001) to the control panel using two (2),
#6-32 x 0.375 Phillips pan head, thread forming screws
(X25330033100). Use the mounting locations for the
specific chiller type as shown in the following illustrations:

Live Electrical Components!
Failure to follow all electrical safety precautions when
exposed to live electrical components could result in
death or serious injury.
When necessary to work with live electrical
components, have a qualified licensed electrician or
other individual who has been properly trained in
handling live electrical components perform these
tasks.
WARNING
Hazardous Voltage!
Failure to disconnect power before servicing could
result in death or serious injury.
Disconnect all electric power, including remote
disconnects before servicing. Follow proper lockout/
tagout procedures to ensure the power can not be
inadvertently energized. Verify that no power is present
with a voltmeter.
