WIRING DIODES FOR VEHICLES WITH MORE THAN ONE DOOR TRIGGER WIRE
NOTE: 97-Up F-Series Light Duty Pickups have a separate door trigger wire for each door. The BLACK/YELLOW
catches the driver’s door and the BLACK/PINK catches the passenger’s door. Use both wires and diode isolate
each. The wires are found in there respective door harnesses. Both wires may also be found at the GEM module
located above the fuse box.
WIRING A RELAY FOR DOMELIGHT SUPERVISION (NEGATIVE DOOR TRIGGER)
Most alarm and remote start systems include the option of dome light supervision. Dome light supervision will
turn on the vehicle’s dome light for a set time when the system unlocks/disarms the vehicle. This allows the
user to check the interior of the vehicle for an intruder before entering.
For dome light supervision connect the dome light supervision output as shown:
