Why does my True Z5.0 keep resetting or pausing randomly?
    • E
      Emily JohnsonJul 30, 2025
If your True Treadmill resets or pauses randomly, the issue could stem from several causes. Start by checking the power cord for damage and ensuring it's fully seated in the socket. Make sure the safety e-stop key is fully engaged. Insufficient power could also be the problem, so verify the output voltage from the 20A outlet with a voltmeter. Also, user weight must be over 90lbs. Verify No User Present settings in console.

If your True Treadmill has no power, first ensure the On/Off switch is in the ON position. Then, check the power cord to make sure it is not damaged and is fully seated in the socket at both the unit and the outlet. Verify that the outlet has power using a voltmeter. Also, check the circuit breaker next to the On/Off switch to see if it has tripped; if so, reset it.

    • M
      Molly JacksonAug 12, 2025
If the heart rate on your True Treadmill is displaying erratically or not displaying, first ensure that the transmitter belt contacts are making good contact with your skin and are moist. Also, make sure the transmitter belt is within 3 feet (1 meter) of the heart rate receiver on the console. If the issue persists, the battery inside the transmitter belt may be depleted, replace the transmitter belt with a compatible one. Another user wearing a compatible transmitter strap may be too close to the unit, move the units so that there is more space in-between units.

If your True Treadmill's heart rate display is erratic, it might be due to environmental interference from high voltage power lines. Try moving the unit to another position in the room or move the cause of the interference until heart rate reading are stable. If the probable source of interference is plugged into the same outlet move the suspect source to another outlet.
